Managing Your Subscription

View and Manage Your PatternPilotAI Subscription

All subscription management is handled through the Stripe Customer Portal, a secure interface provided by our payment processor. Here is how to access it and what you can do.

Accessing the Subscription Manager

  1. Go to Settings in the PatternPilotAI app
  2. Scroll to the Subscription section
  3. Click "Manage Subscription"
  4. You will be redirected to the Stripe Customer Portal

The Stripe Customer Portal opens in a new tab. It is a secure, Stripe-hosted page where you can manage all aspects of your subscription.

What You Can Do in the Customer Portal

View Subscription Details

See your current plan (monthly or annual), the next billing date, and the amount that will be charged. This gives you a clear picture of your subscription status at any time.

View Billing History

Access a complete list of all past payments, including:

  • Payment dates and amounts
  • Payment method used
  • Invoice status (paid, pending, failed)

You can download individual invoices as PDF files for your records or expense reporting.

Update Payment Method

If you need to change the credit or debit card on file:

  1. Click "Update payment method" in the portal
  2. Enter your new card details
  3. Click "Save"

Your new payment method will be used for all future charges. The old card is removed automatically.

Switch Plans

Cancel Subscription

You can cancel your subscription directly from the portal. See our Canceling Your Subscription guide for details on what happens after cancellation.

Subscription Status in the App

Your subscription status is always visible in the PatternPilotAI app:

  • Dashboard header shows whether you are on the Free or Pro plan
  • Settings page shows your plan details and next renewal date
  • Feature access automatically adjusts based on your subscription status

Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. PatternPilotAI never stores your credit card numbers or sensitive payment data. When you enter payment information, it goes directly to Stripe's secure servers.

Common Questions

Can I have multiple subscriptions? No, each account has one subscription. You are either on the free tier or Pro.

What happens if my payment fails? Stripe will automatically retry the payment. You will receive an email notification about the failed payment and instructions to update your payment method. Your Pro access continues for a short grace period while the payment is retried.

Can I get a refund? Contact our support team at /contact to discuss refund requests. We handle these on a case-by-case basis.

I do not see the Manage Subscription button. This button only appears for users with an active or recently canceled Pro subscription. If you have never subscribed, you will see an "Upgrade to Pro" button instead.
