Fix Issues Logging Into Your Account
If you cannot log into PatternPilotAI, follow these steps to regain access to your account.
Forgot Your Password
The most common login issue is a forgotten password. Here is how to reset it:
- Go to the PatternPilotAI login page
- Click "Forgot password?" below the login form
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Click "Send Reset Link"
- Check your email inbox for a password reset message
- Click the reset link in the email
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click "Reset Password"
- You can now log in with your new password
Reset Link Not Arriving?
- Check your spam or junk folder. Password reset emails sometimes get filtered
- Make sure you are entering the correct email address. Try any other email addresses you might have used
- Wait a few minutes. Email delivery can sometimes be delayed
- If you still do not receive it after 10 minutes, try requesting a new reset link
Reset Link Expired?
Password reset links expire after a limited time for security purposes. If the link has expired, simply go back to the login page and request a new one.
Try Magic Link Login
PatternPilotAI offers a passwordless login option:
- On the login page, click "Sign in with Magic Link" (or similar option)
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for the magic link
- Click the link to be logged in automatically
This bypasses the password entirely and can be useful if you are having trouble with your password but can access your email.
Check Your Email Address
If neither password reset nor magic link emails are arriving:
- Verify you are using the correct email. Try any email addresses you might have used when creating the account
- Check for typos. A common issue is entering a slightly different email address
- If you are unsure which email you used, contact support and we can help you locate your account
Clear Browser Cookies and Cache
Corrupted browser data can prevent successful logins:
Chrome
- Click the three-dot menu > Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data
- Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
- Click "Clear data"
- Go back to PatternPilotAI and try logging in again
Firefox
- Click the menu > Settings > Privacy & Security
- Under "Cookies and Site Data," click "Clear Data"
- Select both checkboxes and click "Clear"
Safari
- Go to Safari > Settings > Privacy
- Click "Manage Website Data" and remove PatternPilotAI data
- Or click "Remove All"
After clearing, close and reopen your browser before trying to log in again.
Try a Different Browser or Device
If clearing cache does not help:
- Try logging in from a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
- Try logging in from a different device (phone, tablet, another computer)
- If it works on a different browser or device, the issue is specific to your original browser's configuration
Disable Browser Extensions
Some browser extensions can interfere with login:
- Ad blockers may block authentication requests
- Privacy extensions may prevent cookies needed for login
- VPN extensions may cause connection issues
Try disabling your extensions temporarily and attempting to log in again.
Account Locked
If you see a message that your account is locked or suspended:
- This typically happens after multiple failed login attempts
- Wait 15 to 30 minutes and try again
- If the issue persists, contact support
Still Cannot Log In?
If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact our support team with:
- The email address you are trying to use
- The browser and device you are using
- Any error messages you see on screen
- What steps you have already tried
